THE SHORT VERSION

Megaspeed affiliates bought $4.8 billion in Nvidia gear while under investigation

Megaspeed, a Singapore-based data-center company and Nvidia cloud customer, has been under U.S. investigation for suspected diversion of Nvidia's most advanced AI chips to China in violation of export controls — and its affiliates still bought at least $4.8 billion in Nvidia equipment between June 2024 and February 2026, according to trade records cited in the original reporting.

The summons lands one day after Nvidia's scheduled quarterly earnings report on November 17, and the three chairmen also want Nvidia to disclose the internal protocols it uses to keep foreign adversaries from extracting sensitive information — a signal they are not satisfied with the company's public posture. As of November 6, Nvidia had not confirmed whether Huang will attend.
