THE SHORT VERSION

NVIDIA'S $2,399 AI LAPTOP IS SHIPPING — JENSEN HUANG HANDED OUT SIGNED ONES IN BERLIN

NVIDIA's RTX Spark laptops have gone on sale starting at $2,399, pairing a Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU in a single superchip rated at up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128GB of unified memory. Participating makers include Lenovo, ASUS, Microsoft, Dell, MSI, and HP, with more systems to follow. NVIDIA is positioning the Windows machines for local AI workloads alongside creative applications and gaming.

The launch followed preorders that opened October 7, with compact desktop versions scheduled for November. NVIDIA marked the release with six retail celebrations worldwide. In Berlin, at XPERION inside Saturn at Alexanderplatz, founder and CEO Jensen Huang took selfies with attendees and handed out five signed RTX Spark laptops, while the Berlin TV Tower carried RTX Spark-themed lighting for the Festival of Lights. Other events ran in San Francisco, Seoul, Istanbul, Beijing, and Taipei, with demonstrations of games, content production, and AI running locally.
