The story behind the cartoon
Meta launched Spaces in its Muse app on November 6: describe an idea in chat and Muse builds a custom in-app experience around it — a holiday gift tracker, a wedding planner, a trivia game, a home control dashboard.
Chief executive Mark Zuckerberg demoed it himself on X, saying he had built a barbecue game, an event tracker and a home control dashboard.
Spaces turns a chat prompt into a working mini-app inside Muse — the product launch, not the $3B investment or the download counts.
The joke is the demo: Zuckerberg, delighted, types MAKE A BBQ GAME into Muse and a miniature pixel barbecue game — chef, grill, hearts and all — bursts out of the laptop.
