THE SHORT VERSION
Don't ask a chatbot what's on your ballot — it will guess
The nonpartisan U.S. Vote Foundation, reacting to the Post's findings, warns that chatbot answers sound confident and complete but are too often wrong — including Senate races listed in states with none on the ballot this year.
Its advice: don't rely on a chatbot for your sample ballot, deadlines or election rules; check your local election office or a verified nonpartisan source first.
