Apple announced on October 27 that Keynote, Pages and Numbers will gain beta AI assistants in a November update to its Creator Studio suite. The assistants understand document context — drafting and reorganizing text in Pages, designing and animating slides in Keynote, and calculating data and recommending charts in Numbers — and are built on Apple models and OpenAI.

The same update adds Model Context Protocol support to all three apps, letting outside AI agents read content, perform edits and execute automated actions on a Mac running macOS 27 or later. The assistants are beta and US English only, require an Apple Intelligence-capable device, and come free to existing Creator Studio subscribers; new subscribers pay $12.99 a month.
